Job Description
The Accounting Generalist will report to the Financial Controller and play a key role in supporting internal accounting and finance procedures. If youre eager to accelerate your career and contribute to a rapidly growing company entering its next phase Novisto is the place for you.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and process invoices payments and expense reports.
- Support monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain financial records and documentation compliant with IFRS standards
- Provide support in tax filings audits and regulatory compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Perform adhoc tasks and prepare various reports upon managements requests
What were looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 23 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in a startup or tech environment
- Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero Float Dext)
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced evolving environment
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Excellent verbal and communication skills (Bilingualism French and English)
- Able to commute to the office in the Old Montreal (hybrid work model)
