Job Description

Deputy Manager Childrens Residential Home

Location: Sunderland
Provision: Childrens Residential Home (Ages 717 Mild Learning Difficulties & EBD)
Hours: 48 hours per week (Rolling 6week rota includes at least 1 weekend per month)
Salary: 38400 per annum Sleepin payment 52 per shift)

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker looking for your next career move This is an exciting opportunity to join a wellestablished and growing provider with a strong Ofsted Good track record.

As Deputy Manager you will play a key role in overseeing the home managing staff rotas ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and creating a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive. Youll work alongside a highly experienced Registered Manager and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

What Were Looking For

Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce (or equivalent)
Experience in a Senior RSW Deputy or Assistant Manager role in residential childcare
Strong understanding of safeguarding & childrens residential care legislation
Confidence in supervising teams & ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations
Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential)
Good IT skills & a willingness to learn new systems

Key Responsibilities

Lead & support the care team to provide highquality care
Manage staff rotas (including your own) & oversee daytoday operations
Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards & safeguarding regulations
Support young peoples development through a nurturing personcentred approach
Work alongside a fantastic Registered Manager & wider multidisciplinary team
