Job Summary:
We are seeking Forklift Operator who will be responsible for building loads for deliveries. In addition must maintain a safe clean and well organized lumber yard / warehouse load and unload lumber and/or building supplies and operate a forklift. Other duties as assigned.
Associated Truss & Lumber Co. is a growing floors and roofs truss lumber company in the manufacturing industry. We are a family owned local company with 110 local employees that mold and drive the company where it is today.
We are seeking Forklift Operator who will be responsible for building loads for deliveries. In addition must maintain a safe clean and well organized lumber yard / warehouse load and unload lumber and/or building supplies and operate a forklift. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
- Build loads for delivery
- Load and unload lumber and building supplies from trucks and rail
- Operates forklift
- Untie/Tie railcars
- safety check equipment
- band units when necessary)
- Staple paper wrap keep customer inventory neat tidy and free of damage
- Keeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies
- Keeps lumber yard clean well organized and safe
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Order Puller in a Lumber company required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others oneonone.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or twostep instructions
- Experience working in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Must take and pass drug test and consent to a background check.
- Must take and pass other preemployment assessments.
- Work in outdoor / indoor conditions and ability to load and unload lumber and other building materials with or without reasonable accommodations.
Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 to 3 months related experience or training.
- Previous experience working in a lumber yard or similar.
- Forklift operation experience strongly preferred.

Schedule:
- 8hour shift
- Day shift: 8am4:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Compensation: $17.00 $19.00 per hour
