Job Title:
HR Generalist
Location: Sterling VA USA
Salary: $50000 $60000 Annually
Duration: FullTime Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist with payroll experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions including payroll processing benefits administration and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role requires a detailoriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process biweekly payroll for all employees ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Maintain and update employee records including personal information job titles and compensation details.

  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws and regulations.

  • Conduct regular audits of HR and payroll processes to identify and address any discrepancies or areas for improvement.

  • Provide support and guidance to employees on HRrelated matters including policy interpretation and benefits inquiries.

  • Maintain employment files and ensure I9s are current and accurate.

  • Uphold compliance with federal and state regulations surrounding employment.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR with a focus on payroll processing.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Excellent understanding of labor laws and regulations.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional organizational and timemanagement skills.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

    • Ability to manage adverse situations and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
