Job Description

  • Perform manpower planning and leveling per the New Program Template.
  • Interact with corporate planning production management and union leadership on all matters relating to IE activities.
  • Lead a cross functional team in the development of operator man assignments working closely with TLs Quality and Engineering to assure objectives are met at a station and plant level.
  • Build relationships with Engineering and Manufacturing to comprehend the new product requirements and sequence of build.
  • Develops work assignments based on predetermined time standards.
  • Conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization.
  • Plans and oversees layout of equipment office and production facilities.
  • Perform cycle time and bottleneck analysis.
  • Develop and improve work methods.
  • Ability to take on and own leadership roles in executing the launch plan.
  • Provide supervision mentoring and direction to less experienced team members.
  • The candidate needs to be selfmotivated; goal driven and possesses good presentation skills.

Qualifications :

  • Basic Qualifications: bachelors degree in industrial engineering.
  • 4 years Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication computer and problem solving/analytical skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interface with all levels of management and labor.
  • Selfmotivated.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Industrial Engineering experience implementing direct labor line balancing in a highvolume manufacturing environment using a standard time methodology.
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of AMPS MODAPTS and TeamCenter highly desired.
  • Proficient in Google Suites and Microsoft Office applications.
