As a Construction Manager at Foth youll lead a variety of projects engage with clients and mentor others. This role allows you to be the face of Foth meeting with subcontractors and taking on a leadership position. This position will be based out of our Franklin WI office location. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead construction management activities facilitating coordination between design staff and construction observers.
- Mentor and support construction observers in resolving technical issues and providing training.
- Manage construction schedules particularly for municipal projects.
- Contribute to estimating contracting and construction processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in planning and design activities during periods of low construction activity.
- Foster collaborative relationships with project engineers contractors and clients to ensure project success.
- Provide valuable input during project constructability reviews.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with process startup.
- Coordinate equipment supply as needed.
- Ensure adherence to specifications according to client or project requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field; or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum eight years of experience in the construction field
- Minimum three years of experience in a construction management role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in engineering principles and practices related to the design construction and maintenance of public infrastructure specifically including utilities roadways and sewer/water facilities such as lift stations booster stations and elevated storage tanks.
