Employer: Accenture Infrastructure and Capital Projects LLC
Position Location: Ocoee FL
Position: Construction Manager
Job Duties:
- Manage all facets of the construction project budget and schedule. This includes coordinating with public agencies project team contractors ensuring the project scope is built according to plans specifications and cost limits.
- Perform day-to-day contract administration which includes assisting the Senior Project Manager.
- Review initial construction schedule submittals for specification requirements schedule of values and responds to contractor inquiries.
- Perform the role of manager in bid analysis pre-construction meetings and related award coordinating activities.
- Keep a log of contractor responses to requests for clarification.
- Negotiate with contractors to achieve a fair and reasonable cost for change orders and review their impact on the project.
- Review applications for payment and performs fiscal management of project resources.
Job Requirements:
- Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or closely related. Employer will accept advance degree if in the same field.
- Experience Requirements: 60 months of experience in job offered Officer Engineer Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager Trainee and Project Engineer Assistant Engineer or closely related.
- Special skills requirements:
- 1. Manage the Progress Payments and RFI processes time and material tickets as well as submittals to streamline monthly construction draw requests. Maintain internal documentation balance budget draw package for OCTA review.
- 2. Work on the construction of the following elements and areas of the light right industry Passenger Light Rail Maintenance Facility Single Crossover Double Crossover MSFMaintenance Storage Facility for Rails Traction Power Substations Rail Stations Overhead Contact System Embedded Track and Direct fixation Tracks and Bridges for the Rails.
- 3. Implement design modifications by issuing change directives to contractors incorporating design adjustments and processing change orders for owner approval to ensure contractor payments align with project progress.
- 4. Assist the Project Manager with the construction management of commercial residential and multi-purpose buildings. This involves overseeing the project schedule ensuring adherence to engineering standards codes and specifications and managing critical construction elements such as roofing steel structures concrete framing and skylight systems.
- 5. Perform cost-benefit analysis through detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimation to verify proposals and submittals align with project specifications. Draft and execute subcontracts based on validated proposals ensuring smooth project execution.
- 6. Collaborate with city officials to obtain necessary permits conduct inspections and secure licenses ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- 7. Coordinate with steel and framing contractors on building framing and foundation work including truss installation combined footings and state-of-the-art steel columns to ensure alignment with the owners expectations.
- Salary: Available upon request
- Work Schedule: 40 hours/week
