Ideal candidates will be located in Newport RI; Marion MA; Petaluma CA; Duluth MN; Minneapolis MN; Milwaukee WI; Madison WI; or Green Bay WI.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Contribute as a Civil Engineer in diverse waterfront and coastal engineering and dredging projects.
    • Conduct coastal condition assessments and structural analysis contributing to the design and review of marine infrastructure projects.
    • Engage in all project phases from planning and permitting to engineering and construction for coastal protection stabilization and dredging projects.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers to oversee project budgets timelines and deliverables.
    • Develop comprehensive construction documents including detailed plans and specifications.
    • Support permitting planning engineering and construction of various coastal shoreline protection and stabilization marine/waterfront structures and/or dredging projects.
    • Stay abreast of and comply with regulations pertaining to marine infrastructure and coastal engineering.
    • Support development coordination and implementation project safety plans and procedures.
    • Present technical and project updates to diverse audiences both technical experts and nonspecialists.
    • Travel as needed for fieldwork and client/business interactions.

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Civil Ocean or Marine Engineering or a closely related field.
    • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in Civil Ocean or Marine Engineering or closely related field.
    • Relevant experience in Marine Infrastructure and Dredging.
    • Experience with project permitting processes.
