Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Parts Counterperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic. As a Parts Counterperson you will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians in identifying and obtaining the parts they need ensuring inventory accuracy and providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers and technicians in identifying and obtaining the correct automotive parts and accessories.
Maintain and manage inventory including ordering receiving and stocking parts.
Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Keep the parts department clean organized and safe.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
Stay uptodate with product knowledge and industry trends.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in an automotive parts department or similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
