Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator Location: Mumbai Maharashtra India Salary:Job Type: Fulltime (Remote option not available) Roles & Responsibilities As an SAP Basis Administrator you will play a crucial role in designing evolving and guiding architectural solutions tailored for banking enterprises. Your responsibilities will include: Managing SAP system landscapes installations and upgrades. Configuring and optimizing SAP systems ensuring high availability and performance. Implementing security measures and protocols to protect financial data. Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to assess requirements and deliver solutions. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues proactively. Providing 24/7 support for critical business operations. Conducting regular backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity. Preparing documentation and reports on system configurations and performance metrics. Mandatory Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. Indepth knowledge of SAP architecture and system management. Experience in banking or financial services sector is essential. Proficiency in database management including HANA and Oracle databases. Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Skills and Education Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. SAP certification (e.g. SAP Certified Technology Associate) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud technologies and SAP cloud solutions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Previous experience with automation tools and scripting languages would be advantageous.
