Key Duties
Assist the Head Chef in planning and updating menus that reflect seasonal availability and local sourcing.
Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols adhering to all relevant regulations.
Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure fresh highquality ingredients are consistently available.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a reputable kitchen.
Strong understanding of British cuisine with an emphasis on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
Adept at multitasking and thriving under pressure during busy service periods.
Relevant culinary qualifications and uptodate knowledge of food safety standards.
Full Time
