Job Description
Job Title: Pharmacy Director
Location: St. Ignace MI
Salary: $155000/year (dependent on experience)
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (flexible scheduling based on department needs)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Director to oversee all pharmacy operations within the hospital. This role is responsible for planning budgeting supervising pharmacy personnel and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. The Pharmacy Director will work closely with hospital leadership to develop policies improve pharmacy services and maintain medication safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all pharmacy department activities
- Develop and implement department policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with DNV Department of Public Health Regulations and hospital policies
- Manage pharmacy budget purchasing and inventory
- Oversee staff hiring training and performance evaluations
- Ensure safe and efficient medication distribution across inpatient and outpatient areas
- Coordinate medication deliveries and maintain workflow efficiency
