Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echocardiography Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiographic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture heart images.
- Ensure highquality diagnostic images for evaluation.
- Collaborate with cardiologists on findings and care plans.
- Explain procedures and address patient concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and document results.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Follow hospital policies procedures and safety standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Echocardiography Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
- Certification from ARDMS or CCI (preferred).
- Experience in performing echocardiographic procedures.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy physiology and blood flow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Dedicated to patient care and safety.
