Job Summary
The GM of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the daytoday operations of the garment and textile manufacturing processes. This role ensures smooth production flows operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards while leading a team to meet both shortterm and longterm production goals. The position requires a strategic leader who is capable of handling the operational challenges inherent in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibility

Operational Management:
- Oversee the overall operations of the garment and textile manufacturing process ensuring production schedules budgets and deadlines are met.
- Manage production flow to ensure the timely delivery of highquality products.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements reduce operational costs and increase production efficiency.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the operations team ensuring proper staffing training and development of employees.
- Foster a positive resultsdriven work culture.
- Set performance goals for team members and monitor progress.

Production Planning & Control:
- Develop and implement production schedules based on customer demand production capacity and material availability.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources including manpower materials and machinery to meet production targets.
- Troubleshoot any productionrelated issues that arise and ensure timely resolutions.

Quality Control & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain high standards for product quality ensuring that finished goods meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Implement quality control systems to monitor product consistency and defect reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
- Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure adequate materials are available for uninterrupted production.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials finished goods and supplies to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the operational budget ensuring effective cost control and resource utilization.
- Analyze cost trends and recommend costsaving initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on operational costs production performance and any budget deviations.

Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance productivity reduce lead times and optimize quality.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and other methodologies to streamline operations.
Qualification:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Textile Manufacturing or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 810 years in a senior operational or managerial role in garment/textile manufacturing.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of garment and textile manufacturing processes including cutting sewing finishing and quality control.
- Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Indepth knowledge of production planning budgeting cost management and operational efficiency.
