Job Description
Job Title: Head of Technology and Transformation
Location: Peterborough 23 days a week in the office per week.
Salary: up to 60000
Vargo is working with a fastgrowing fintech business specialising in pensions and investments. This role will oversee technology strategy team management and infrastructure and drive innovation within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape and implement the companys technology strategy to align with overall objectives.
Lead and support the technology team including mentoring performance evaluations and skills development.
Manage daily technology operations including network and server infrastructure software licensing and asset monitoring.
Keep Senior Management informed on system updates team performance key risks and action plans.
Ensure Root Cause Analysis on service tickets to identify trends and improve the user experience.
Maintain and review technologyrelated policies and ensure alignment with current and future business needs.
Control technology budgets promoting costeffective solutions across the company.
Stay updated on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies to foster continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to meet shared objectives.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in an IT setting
Skilled in talent recruitment training team supervision and fostering high performance
Preferably experienced in a Fintech environment
Background in coordinating software installations upgrades and system maintenance
Proven experience leading a team of developers
Proficient in identifying software requirements
Knowledgeable in architecture processes and performance analysis of operating systems
Strong grasp of business processes operations and organizational structure
