Job Description
Project Manager Civil Site Development
Greenville SC
A wellrespected and growing civil engineering firm with a strong presence in the Southeast is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team in Greenville SC. This awardwinning company offers diverse services including civil environmental structural and marine engineering; land surveying; land planning; landscape architecture; geographic information systems; and construction administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects for various clients in the residential commercial and industrial sectors.
- Prepare proposals and develop project fees.
- Conduct site visits and meet with clients and consultants to support project needs and business development.
- Monitor project scope schedule and budget.
- Manage engineering work and collaborate with other disciplines.
- Develop project scopes of work.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- Supervise engineers and technicians.
- Track projects using accounting software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E..
- 7 years of experience in public and private project design with a focus on site development.
- Proven experience in producing residential commercial and industrial design plans.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering project management including scope schedule and budget management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD preferably Civil 3D.
- Business development skills.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Understanding of business financial information.
