Every day older people in our sheltered schemes face challenges that impact their independence. As our Livewell Housing Support Officer youll provide the vital support that helps them remain in their own homes connected to their communities and living with dignity and purpose.
This role is about building genuine connections. Youll build meaningful relationships with vulnerable residents aged 55 developing personalised support plans that address their unique needs. For those requiring more intensive help youll provide up to 45 minutes of weekly assistance with tasks like benefit applications healthcare coordination and budgeting support.
Imagine being the key person who supports residents to maintain their independence using your compassion and practical skills to help residents live safely and independently in their own homes enhancing their quality of life and wellbeing.

More about you
Youre a people person with genuine compassion for older adults and a commitment to helping them live independently. You have experience working onetoone with people with varying needs and understand the challenges they face.
Youre organised and efficient with the ability to manage your time effectively between officebased work and customer visits. Youre comfortable maintaining accurate records and can use Microsoft Word and Excel confidently.
You work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Youre resourceful in finding solutions to help vulnerable residents and can liaise effectively with multiple agencies.
A full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle is essential for this role as youll be travelling to visit customers across your allocated sheltered schemes and occasionally transporting residents to appointments. Your vehicle must be insured for business use that includes carrying passengers.
Most importantly you genuinely care about helping older people maintain their independence dignity and quality of life.
