Role Overview:
In this highimpact role you will collaborate with the IT portfolio team to create and implement a structured roadmap for information management supporting compliance with privacy and data protection standards. Youll utilise your expertise in SharePoint ideally Microsoft Purview and AI tools to help streamline processes develop governance policies and build a robust information architecture.
Reporting directly to the Manager of IT Portfolio Delivery youll play a crucial role in modernising the companys approach to data management. Youll work closely with teams across the business to guide them through the transition to a more structured compliant and userfriendly information framework.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a roadmap for information management and data governance
- Guide compliance efforts with Privacy Act standards and data protection policies
- Design and implement a unified information architecture to improve data flow
- Support the adoption of AIdriven tools for data efficiency and compliance
- Establish policies and systems for data governance and cyber literacy
- Create training and adoption frameworks for new technologies and protocols
- Monitor and optimise information management processes for ongoing improvement
Candidate Profile:
You bring a background in information management and an enthusiasm for driving digital transformation in a dynamic environment. You have proven experience in SharePoint and ideally Microsoft Purview with a working knowledge of AI tools and a mindset for organisational growth. Prior experience in mining is a plus but not required. You are a proactive communicator and adapt well to change making you an ideal fit for a company that values flexibility and innovation.
