SENCO Outstanding SEN School Poole (September Start)

Location: Poole
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: Leadership Scale (depending on experience)

An outstanding SEN school in Poole is seeking a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join their leadership team in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on the schools SEN provision and lead a dedicated team of specialists in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Your Role:

  • Lead and manage the schools SEN provision ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
  • Work with staff to provide differentiated teaching strategies and ensure inclusion throughout the school.
  • Support and guide SEN staff offering professional development and fostering a collaborative approach.

What We Need From You:

  • A qualified teacher with experience in SEN leadership or coordination.
  • A deep understanding of SEND legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
