We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in hardware and embedded software projects to drive project coordination and client management. This role will cover a range of embedded projects from driverlevel development to firmware integration and mixed hardware/software solutions. Youll be responsible for ensuring smooth project clear communication and alignment between technical teams and stakeholders.
While deep engineering expertise is not required you should be comfortable working with embedded engineers firmware developers and hardware teams to maintain project clarity realistic timelines and structured collaboration.
What youll do:
Project Coordination & Delivery:
Define scope schedules and deliverables in collaboration with solutions engineering and technical experts.
Oversee projects involving driver development firmware updates and embedded system integration adapting to evolving requirements.
Track progress manage dependencies and ensure timely milestone completion.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
Serve as the primary link between engineering teams and external clients.
Set realistic expectations and ensure clients understand technical constraints and tradeoffs.
Facilitate scope adjustments and communicate changes effectively.
Process & Risk Management:
Implement structured project tracking using Jira or similar tools.
Coordinate thirdparty partners manufacturers and certification organizations involved in the hardware development lifecycle.
Proactively address potential challenges such as hardware availability testing constraints and firmware reliability to keep projects on track.
Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
Work closely with engineers and technical leads to ensure projects align with technical requirements and feasibility.
Support teams in refining driver development firmware updates and iterative enhancements.
Help streamline project reporting and provide support in resolving challenges as they arise.
Key Requirements:
Project Management Experience:
4 years of experience managing software firmware or hardwarerelated projects.
Comfortable overseeing technically complex projects such as driver development or embedded software updates.
Familiarity with various project management methodologies and approaches.
Technical Understanding (without deep engineering expertise required):
General awareness of firmware development and driverlevel programming considerations.
Understanding of how hardware and software interact in embedded projects.
Ability to communicate key embedded concepts in a clear and accessible way to clients and nontechnical stakeholders.
Soft Skills & Communication:
Strong coordination and problemsolving abilities particularly in dynamic and iterative development environments.
Skilled at facilitating collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Effective at documentation reporting and client communication.
Good level of English both written and spoken (min. B2
Nice to have:
Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
Background in managing driver development or embedded system integration projects.
Some exposure to presales activities (RFQs RFPs client requirement gathering).
Familiarity with regulatory compliance or certification processes for embedded systems.
