Job Description
A respected Church of England School in Richmond is seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (French) Teacher to join our Languages department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of French language and culture within our school community.
About Our Learning Community:
Our Church of England school values linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 35 including GCSE and ALevel.
- Develop and implement lesson plans covering French grammar vocabulary and cultural studies.
- Facilitate studentled conversations and cultural projects.
- Assess student progress through speaking listening reading and writing tasks.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the French curriculum.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as French clubs and cultural events.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in French or Modern Foreign Languages.
- Extensive experience teaching French at the secondary level preferably in a faith school setting.
- Native or nearnative fluency in French.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
