Your Role as a Design & Technology Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Design & Technology across KS3 KS4 and potentially KS5.
- Teach a broad curriculum including Product Design Engineering Graphics and Resistant Materials.
- Encourage students to develop creativity technical skills and an understanding of realworld applications of design and manufacturing.
- Support students in achieving high standards of coursework and examination results.
- Organise and participate in extracurricular clubs competitions and STEM events to enhance students learning experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching methods and resources.
Who Were Looking For:
- A qualified Design & Technology Teacher with QTS (or working towards it).
- Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching across different areas of DT such as Product Design Engineering or Resistant Materials.
- A passion for handson practical learning and the ability to inspire creativity in students.
- The ability to differentiate lessons to cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
- An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
