Job Description
Job Description:
- Single accountable party for planning orchestrating and delivering a technologyrelated project.
- Directs technologyrelated project with varying complexity millions of investments and involving multiple internal and external resources
- Directly manages all aspects of the project lifecycle and works with matrix
- IT partners to oversee all SLDC phases of a project
- Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time cost and quality parameters.
- Chairs regular meeting with PWT and Project Sponsor / Project Steering
- Committee (PSC) to review progress on overall delivery plan as to scope cost and schedule and project risks assumptions actions issues and dependencies and proposes recommendations and adjustments.
- Publishes periodic project status reports.
- Ensures compliance with required project artifacts and audit requirements (internal/external audit)
- It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology Industrial Engineering or any related field
- At least 5 yrs. experience as Project Manager
- Exemplary core project management skills and has knowledge on SDLC for both waterfall and agile delivery
- Has experience of successfully leading complex and multicomponent IT projects. Knowledge or experience of banking operations is a plus.
- Strong Leadership and negotiation skills
- Solid influencing skills and excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Sound business and technical acumen
- Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
- Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
