Job Description
MyCargoGate Group is a leading logistics company specializing in crossborder eCommerce headquartered in Switzerland with subsidiaries in Germany and Spain. With 95 of our business dedicated to customs clearance we are at the forefront of ensuring seamless global trade operations.
We are looking for an ECommerce Agent (m/w/d) 100 for our site in Bassersdorf (Zrich) to strengthen our team and drive excellence in import/export operations. What you will do:
- Overseeing and managing all import and export operations between Switzerland and other countries.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant customs laws and procedure.
- Staying uptodate with the latest customs regulations and ensuring full adherence to relevant laws and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customsrelated matters both internally and externally.
- Providing guidance and support to internal teams on customsrelated matters.
- Proactively identifying and resolving potential customs risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize customs processes and improve efficiency.
- Keeping detailed and accurate records of all customs documentation.
What you will need:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in managing customs operations preferably in the logistics industry.
- Indepth knowledge of Swiss customs regulations and clearance procedures.
- Certified Authorized Customs Representative (or similar qualification) is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in both German and English (additional languages are a plus).
