Job Description
SASE Solutions Architect to support our client in designing their complex cloud network & security architecture.
Location: Plano TX or Palo Alto CA (only locals)
Duration: 12 Months likely to be extended
Mode of Interview: Video
Position Summary:
As an experienced Solution Architect for SASE (Network &Security) youll be executing tasks of both technical and strategic in nature that impact our customers clients and other internal and external business partners. Your expertise in designing implementing and overseeing the deployment of a complex cloud network & security architecture will be key to ensuring efficient and secure connectivity for the entire organization.
By incorporating your knowledge of business usecases/drivers youll affect change and execute development of technical assets such as highlevel conceptual design detailed (lowlevel) design implementation plans test/PoC/pilot setups RFI/P vendor selection/evaluation documents and tools. Youll partner closely with our product managers/owners and align SASE designs with our product offerings to their desires and vision. You will be responsible for driving architecture results while working closely with other technical teams to implement multiple complex programs that span the breadth of the business; thus acting as both an advocate and trusted technology expert for internal and external teams.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience with a must have at least 2 years of Solution Architecture experience in Cloud/MultiCloud (networking & security) SDWAN and experience designing & implementing high quality cloud enable products
- Ability to define and communicate architecture strategy & approach in clear concise and understandable terms to senior management and other stakeholders
- Ability to be able to define design architecture vision roadmap and setting design objectives that align with customer demand & also enterprises business goals
- Ability to articulate customer needs internally so they can be translated into a finished design
- Proven ability to structure business cases around a highlevel strategic architecture
- Deep and hands on technical knowledge and expertise in productizing SASE/SSE features including but limited to SDWAN SWG ZTNA FWaaS CASB DLP and RBI
- Strong technical knowledge of VPN IPSEC GRE Segmentation (application & network)
- Knowledge of public private and hybrid cloud architectures
- Knowledge of Cloud networking and multicloud networking
- Knowledge of public private and hybrid cloud architecture of at least one of the major Cloud service providers (AWS Azure GCP).
- Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design performance and monitoring best practices.
- Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies
- Excellent communication skills plus proven relationship building abilities
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within Budget
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive networking and security architectures/designs ensuring alignment with the organizations business goals and technical requirements. Proficient in creating High Level and low level designs for large scale and complex SASE deployments
- Hands on deepdive technical knowledge and expertise in productizing SASE features including but limited to SDWAN SWG ZTNA FWaaS CASB DLP and RBI
- Very Strong familiarity and knowledge around SASE solution across industry standard popular Vendors/OEMs
- Lead SASE PoC initiatives including test planning & design lab setup (equipments/tools) test and results
- Create detailed functional and nonfunctional feature requirements for RFP technical collaboration with stakeholders/partners Drive the RFP process evaluating and selecting vendors based on their ability to meet the organizations technical and business needs
- Primary technical lead to drive & lead the for the ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the organizations operational framework.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including IT operations and business stakeholders to ensure the designed solutions address both technical and business challenges.
- Create comprehensive documentation of designed architectures and solutions and ensure knowledge transfer to relevant teams for smooth implementation and operation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in networking security and hybrid cloud to continuously refine and enhance the organizations architectural strategies.
- Knowledge of public private and hybrid cloud architectures
- Manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders and vendors including to senior executives
