Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
- Scripting and Automation: Write and maintain scripts in Bash and/or Python to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Linux Administration: Manage and troubleshoot Linuxbased systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Kubernetes Orchestration: Deploy manage and scale applications using Kubernetes.
- System Design: Reason about and design scalable reliable and efficient systems. Provide recommendations and lead design discussions.
- Project Delivery: Take ownership of projects from conception to delivery ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time even under ambiguous conditions.
- Communication: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers QA and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project . Clearly communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.Additionally proactively share knowledge and mentor team members on new technologies and best practices.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and skill development.
- Workload Management: Effectively manage multiple workloads and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Cloud Platforms:. (MUST HAVE)
- IaC: Hands on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management or related IaC options (CF Templates CDKs etc)
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python as well as experience writing Kustomize Helm and Ansible playbooks
- CI/CD: Hands on experience writing pipelines in one of the leading CI systems be it Gitlab Github Actions Jenkins etc. as well as local docker
- Linux: Deep understanding of Linux systems including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Kubernetes: Handson experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration (OpenShift EKS AKS). (MUST HAVE)
- Observability and Montioring: Must have experience working with logging and observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch XRay Kinesis LokiStack ElasticSearch AppInsights Grafana/Prometheus SIEMs
- Knowledge of common authentication technologies security controls and standard application security tools.
- Experience in securing environments using offensive and defensive approaches.
- System Design: Must have demonstrable experience in designing and reasoning about complex systems with a proven track record of developing and implementing architectural solutions.
Project Delivery:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering projects from start to finish meeting business requirements and deadlines.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to a nontechnical audience.
- Comfortable participating in design sprints and bringing your product and technical ideas to the wider team
Learning Aptitude:
- A strong drive for continuous learning and selfimprovement.
- Demonstrated ability to persevere and deliver results in challenging situations.
Detail Oriented:
- Demonstrate youre detail oriented by coming to the interview with the answer to eleven times two and tell us why that number is significant.
Experience with:
- ArgoCD Kubernetes (pick your flavour/vendor) ElasticSearch Grafan/Prometheus SIEMS Ansible
Mandatory Skills :
5 yrs Extensive experience with AWS and Azure
Handson experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration (OpenShift EKS AKS)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
