Job Description
Bradley David Associates is looking for a dedicated Ocean Export Operator (LCL) to manage and oversee containerised shipments for our clients well established and growing business. As a key player in the operations team you will be responsible for coordinating and executing Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments ensuring the smooth flow of goods from port to destination.
- Salary:per year dependent on experience and negotiable
- Monday to Friday 9am5:15pm 1 hour lunch
- Office based in Maldon Essex
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the less than container load process from booking to delivery.
- Coordinate with shipping lines freight forwarders and port authorities.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation for customs clearance and shipping.
- Monitor container schedules loading unloading and storage.
- Maintain strong communication with clients to update them on shipping progress.
- Perform routine inspections of containers and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in container operations or logistics.
- Knowledge of Less than Container Load (LCL)
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
