Job Description
As a Motion Designer at Wix you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives through motion built on a strong foundation of design principles. You understand how to design for motion using composition typography and color ensuring that movement serves as a natural extension of the brands visual identity and storytelling. In your daytoday youll:
Develop styleframes & storyboards to establish the creative direction for projects
Shape brand aesthetics through directing motion ensuring consistency across digital platforms
Collaborate with designers animators editors and 3D artists to bring concepts to life
Work closely with creatives and marketers to translate ideas into compelling motion visuals
Think beyond animationfocus on storytelling product experience and visual impact
Stay ahead of trendsexplore new techniques in motion design branding and interactive visuals
Qualifications :
3 years of experience as a Motion Designer with a strong designfirst approach and expertise in typography color theory and composition
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe applications (like Photoshop Illustrator and After Effects) Familiarity with 3D workflows and an openness to AIenhanced design tools
A sharp eye for aestheticsYou know how to craft beautiful effective and brandconsistent motion work
Strong conceptual thinkerYou can ideate sketch and design motionbased storytelling
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
Proactive and independentYou take initiative adapt quickly and can lead motion design projects from start to finish
