The role
We have a newly role for a Senior Contracts Manager in our Major Capital Projects team. This team is delivering an exciting pipeline of projects that will shape the future of Crown. This role is key in running the procurement process for all suppliers associated with the projects. This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting regeneration project. You will be responsible for;
- Preparation of tenders process and procedure commercial and contractual evaluation of all suppliers across Major Capital Projects.
- Plan develop and control procurement activities to ensure that activities are conducted efficiently with a view to optimising the economy of purchase quality of materials reliability and timeliness of supply
- Implement best practice procurement methods with respect to all forms of procurement such as performancebased contracting partnerships panels etc.
- Implement agreed controls for tendering and all procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the wider Procurement team and internal business units to identify and track supplier due diligence requirements
About you
To be successful in this role you will be a passionate procurement lead with strong contract management skills. You will have experience of working in large scale projects and experience delivering to tight deadlines. Ideally you have experience working in the construction industry with proven results. You will also have;
- Bachelors degree in construction Project Management or other relevant field.
- Administering and executing the commercial aspects of large projects.
- Able to deliver projects within strict deadlines.
- High level of planning Organisational and report writing skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact with senior management and the project team at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in working within complex stakeholder engagements and effective relationship building.
