Job Description

OpenText Content Manager (EDRMS) Technical Consultant with active(ability to obtain) baseline security clearance SYDNEY/Canberra

The Technical Consultant will be responsible for the upgrade management and optimization of OpenText Content Manager (Version 23.4 Build 140 Patch Level 1 Hotfix) within the National Archives of Australia (NAA) environment. The role includes onpremise and potential cloud migration strategies ensuring seamless integration with M365 and adherence to government recordkeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade configure and maintain OpenText Content Manager (Version 23.4 ensuring optimal system performance and security.
  • Implement and manage integrations with Microsoft 365 Apps (OneDrive SharePoint Teams) Zero Footprint and Office VSTO plugins.
  • Ensure seamless email integration with Outlook (M365 and Outlook on the Web.
  • Manage server and desktop configurations to support enterprisewide Content Manager deployments.
  • Support onpremise infrastructure while developing a cloud migration roadmap where applicable.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting patch management and performance tuning.
  • Ensure compliance with Commonwealth recordkeeping frameworks ISO 16175 and Digital Continuity 2020/2030 requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system usability and automation features.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in OpenText Content Manager (EDRMS) administration implementation and upgrades.
  • Strong expertise in M365 integrations VSTO plugins and SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams connectivity.
  • Handson experience with server configurations Windows environments and database management.
  • Experience with Power Automate API integrations and workflow automation is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of government recordkeeping standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in security best practices and working within a highly regulated government environment.
  • Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
