About the Role
As the Director of PostSurgical Services & Neuroscience Unit you will be at the forefront of healthcare leadership overseeing both the PostSurgical and Neuroscience Units. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer you will ensure highquality safe and efficient nursing care while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
This position carries 24/7 responsibility for operational financial and clinical oversight empowering teams enhancing patient experiences and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing strategies that drive superior patient outcomes.
What Youll Do
- Lead mentor and inspire a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement departmental goals standards and evidencebased best practices.
- Oversee the financial and operational efficiency of both units ensuring budget compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care delivery implementing improvements where necessary.
- Foster a professional growth environment encouraging ongoing learning and development.
- Manage recruitment hiring training and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance and quality care standards.
- Utilize datadriven decisionmaking to enhance patient outcomes and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and operational effectiveness.
- Serve as an advocate for nursing excellence and uphold the highest professional standards.
What You Bring
MustHaves:
- Bachelors Degree from a recognized college or university BSN preferred.
- Active NC RN Licensure and current BLS certification.
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience.
NicetoHaves:
- Masters Degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field.
- ACLS certification.
- 2 years of management experience in a clinical setting.
