Job Description
Emerald Zebra is working closely with a digital asset boutique operating since 2018 and looking to hire a General Manager/ Executive Director to join their team.
In this role you will be responsible for the overall leadership strategic planning and operational management of Cyprus operations. You will ensure full regulatory compliance with MiCA requirements drive sustainable growth and oversee a dynamic team while serving as the key liaison with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Management
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and market expansion in the digital asset space.
- Oversee the daily operations of the office in Cyprus ensuring efficient workflow and high service standards.
- Lead change management initiatives to adapt to evolving regulatory and market conditions.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Make sure that the Company follows the EU and MiCA regulations and any other relevant local financial regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee the development and implementation of robust risk management internal control and reporting systems.
Financial Oversight & Performance Management
- Manage budgets forecast financial performance and optimize operational expenses to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive profitability through strategic investments in technology and process enhancements.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and manage a highperforming team fostering a culture of excellence collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders including regulators partners and clients to enhance Companys market presence.
- Represent the Company at industry events and in communications with investors and the broader financial community.
Innovation & Business Development
- Identify and exploit new business opportunities within the rapidly evolving digital asset market.
- Leverage market trends and customer insights to innovate product offerings and service delivery.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support the launch of new digital asset products and services.
Background and Experience:
- Proven senior leadership experience 5 years) in a regulated financial services or fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of EU financial regulations experience with MiCA MiFiD will be considered as advantage
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning financial management and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a track record of building highperforming teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
