Job Description
Job Title: Senior Information Risk Consultant Information Security
Location: Dallas TX or Tampa FL
Experience Level: MidSenior 7 years)
Job Type: Contract (No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments of applications infrastructure and vendors using established methodologies.
- Identify and document control gaps and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
- Partner with business and technology teams to articulate risks in a clear understandable manner.
- Evaluate and ensure remediation plans effectively address identified risks.
- Document risks in the companys risk register and assist with policy exceptions and risk acceptance processes.
- Drive process improvements in the risk assessment program.
Qualifications
MustHave:
- 57 years of experience in risk assessment (application infrastructure or vendor risk management).
- Strong knowledge of technical infrastructure networks databases and cybersecurity risks.
- Proficiency in information risk management frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel PowerPoint and PowerBI for data analysis and presentations.
- Strong critical thinking analytical skills and attention to detail.
NicetoHave:
- Experience in the Financial Services industry.
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM or CRISC.
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
