Main Duties:
- Carry out the duties as the Groups accountant
- Present timely financial statements/management accounts
- Manage the employees within the department
- Ensure the timely preparation of financial information that may be required lawfully by external bodies
- Carry out financial evaluations and investment appraisals
- Ensure that the audit process of the yearly accounts of all companies is done for the Board of Directors
- Invoice and Collection of monies due to the Group
- Prepare budgets and monitor performance against forecasts; revise forecasts as necessary
- Liaise with the bank to ensure the necessary funds required
- Conduct regular internal audits and financial investigation
- Represent the Company externally as required by superior
- Ensure that all statutory requirements like Insurance/returns to Government Departments are met
- Participate in the formulation of policies systems and procedures
- Implement and guide managers on the approved policies etc.
- Ensure that the tax computations are undertaken by statutory requirements
- Compile maintain/monitor the fixed asset inventory for the Group
- Provide for the training of subordinates
What skills do you need
- Bachelors or Masters degree in finance accounting or related field
- Proven experience in this role. Experience within the hospitality sector will be considered an asset
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information
- Ability to create and analyse financial statements
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS office package and financial software
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Be a good team player and have excellent leadership skills
- Have a cando attitude
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
