Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Orlando FL
Shift Type: Evenings
Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 3:00 PM 12:30 AM 12hour shifts)
Hourly Rate: $28.00 $30.00 (shift differential available)
Role Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile Xray and EKG services (if applicable) to nursing homes healthcare facilities and other locations. This role offers a dynamic work environment with autonomy job security and career growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process Xrays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Unload and transport mobile Xray equipment into facilities to perform physicianordered exams.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic technically competent Xray images.
- Perform EKGs (if required) and transmit results to a Cardiologist.
- Scan and submit examrelated paperwork and billing documents daily.
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch management and healthcare teams.
- Maintain company vehicle and Xray equipment in proper working condition.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification & Licensure:ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.
- Maintain required State Licenses and operational requirements.
- Valid drivers license in good standing.
- COVID19 Vaccination Requirement:Vaccination is mandatory; those seeking an exemption must submit proper documentation.
- Experience:Prior experience in mobile radiology or healthcare facility settings is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to push/pull 50 100 lbs multiple times a day.
- Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce load weight but manual lifting may be required 1624 times per shift.
