Job Description

MalaceHR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in a fastpaced environment including troubleshooting repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment. You will utilize safety predictive and productive maintenance systems to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the achievement of Android's business goals. This position demands a handson professional with a solid technical background and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch activities for machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot repair and maintain hydraulics pneumatics and controls systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance routines on production equipment
  • Oversee shift startup activities to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide daily reports on downtime and equipment status
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management (EOSR/Communication)
  • Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Ensure all machinery is functional for production ensuring minimal downtime
  • Analyze and measure machinery performance identifying areas for improvement
  • Assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and Lean Process Audits (LPA)
  • Respond to maintenance calls promptly and efficiently
  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safety during repairs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Manage parts inventory and ensure adequate stock for repairs
  • Track and report any production downtime suggesting improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned including overtime as needed
  • Adhere to safety and mechanical requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Technical certifications in electrical robotic mechanical and/or fabrication fields preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of robotics mechanical systems welding and electrical systems
  • Experience with PLCs and schematics including Allen Bradley and Siemens Step 7
  • Forklift/Manlift Certification required
  • Strong mechanical analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
  • Basic understanding of building maintenance
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand building and equipment schematics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Safety certification preferred
  • Ability to act as an independent leader and collaborate effectively as a team player
