Data Scientist
This is a contract opportunity.
This is an onsite opportunity in Menlo Park CA.
The Data Scientist will play a critical role in coordinating changes to computer databases testing and implementing databases while applying knowledge of database management systems. In this position you will collaborate with growth marketers program managers and the central analytics team to gather data and metrics requirements. The role will focus on building automated reporting dashboards and providing ongoing analysis to enable datadriven decisionmaking across teams.
This role requires expertise in SQL data extraction ETL processes and experience with Business Intelligence tools. You will also be responsible for identifying and rectifying data integrity and accuracy issues in reporting infrastructure and dashboards.
Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with growth marketers program managers and central analytics teams to gather data and metrics requirements.
Design build and maintain automated reporting and dashboards to enable datadriven decisions. (e.g. using Tableau etc.
Build and optimize ETL processes to support largescale marketing campaigns and automate campaign reporting.
Write highquality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables.
Partner with crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve data integrity and accuracy issues across reporting and data infrastructure.
5 years of experience with SQL (Oracle Vertica Hive MySQL etc..
Experience building and operating distributed systems for data extraction ingestion and processing large datasets from multiple sources.
Expertise in ETL design implementation and maintenance.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau MicroStrategy etc. and report automation.
Proficiency in Python and R.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fastchanging environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
$4550/hr
