Job Description
Operate the weighbridge to accurately record vehicle weights for incoming and outgoing loads.
Verify vehicle documentation and ensure all details are correctly logged.
Issue weighbridge tickets and maintain detailed records of all transactions.
Ensure compliance with legal weight limits and company safety standards.
Report discrepancies safety concerns or irregularities to the appropriate department.
Provide professional customer service to drivers suppliers and clients.
Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize vehicle flow and minimize delays
Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of the weighbridge area.
Requirements
Grade 12
Previous experience as a Weighbridge Operator in the logistics transport or industrial sector
Basic understanding of weight regulations and compliance standards
Strong numerical and data entry skills.
Computer literacy including proficiency in weighbridge software and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to work shifts weekends and overtime as required.
