Job Description
This position will work within the John Day Watershed Restoration Program located in John Day Oregon and will assist in the implementation and monitoring of aquatic habitat improvement projects targeting anadromous salmonids and other focal species. The selected candidate will assist with monitoring efforts such as stream habitat surveys fisheries surveys (snorkeling electrofishing) and riparian vegetation surveys as well as project management activities including project implementation logistical support and assisting the lead Fisheries Biologist during construction. They will also assist with officebased take as necessary including data management and reporting.
