Job Title: Project Manager ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) Domain
Location: Bangalore Hyderabad Pune Chennai Gurgaon Mumbai
Experience: 6 Years
Industry Preference: Insurance (Preferred) / BFSI (Secondary)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager ESG Domain to lead and manage endtoend business transformation initiatives within the Insurance or BFSI sector. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks coupled with expertise in managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. This role requires a strong ability to drive strategic ESG initiatives ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver impactful and sustainable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- EndtoEnd Project Management: Lead ESGfocused business transformation projects from initiation to closure ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry regulations.
- ESG Compliance & Strategy: Drive ESG initiatives incorporating climate and naturerelated risks sustainability goals and governance improvements into business processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including regulators industry bodies and crossfunctional teams to ensure ESG compliance and reporting.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with ESG projects ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and regulatory mandates.
- Methodology Implementation: Apply Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall project management methodologies as per project needs.
- Budget & Resource Management: Define project scope manage budgets allocate resources and track project performance against key deliverables.
- Data & ESG Reporting: Ensure accurate tracking analysis and reporting of ESG data in compliance with industry standards and frameworks.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of ESGrelated business transformation programs.
Required Skills :
- Mandatory ESG Experience: Strong understanding of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) principles frameworks and reporting standards.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience managing projects in the Insurance (preferred) or BFSI sector.
- Project Management Expertise: Handson experience in executing business transformation projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Technical & Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with global ESG regulations sustainability standards and financial sector ESG requirements.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership problemsolving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certification (Preferred): PMP PRINCE2 SAFe or Agile certifications are an added advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret ESG metrics and drive datadriven decisionmaking.
