Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and expertise in financial software applications such as QuickBooks or similar platforms. A professional certification preferably ACCA CA or ICMAP is required.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance.
- Provide insights into budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documentation.
- Generate adhoc reports as requested by management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with departments to create and manage budgets.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts.
Data Management:
- Compile and organize financial data from various sources.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Streamline data collection processes to enhance efficiency.
Financial Software Expertise:
- Utilize advanced features of Excel for financial analysis and modeling.
- Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software with a focus on QuickBooks or similar applications.
- Stay updated on the latest features and updates in financial software tools.
Certification Compliance:
- Possess a relevant professional certification such as ACCA CA or ICMAP.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the enhancement of financial policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to gather necessary financial information.
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external auditors and support audit processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
- Professional certification such as ACCA CA or ICMAP is required.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
