Our client is a topnotch insurance company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Enterprise IT Architecture & System Design
Develop a strategic IT architecture roadmap that aligns with business objectives scalability requirements and regulatory standards.
Establish and enforce architecture standards for key insurance systems covering new business processes underwriting claims management and policy administration.
Ensure IT systems are designed to enable seamless integration with distribution channels bancassurance networks and selfservice platforms for customers.
Collaboration with Banking & Business Teams
Partner with the bank s IT and digital transformation units to integrate insurance solutions within its ecosystem.
Define API and datasharing requirements to enable realtime interactions between banking and insurance platforms.
Work closely with business functions such as underwriting claims and policy administration to ensure IT solutions meet operational requirements.
Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy
Design and oversee the implementation of cloudbased and hybrid IT infrastructures to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure that all infrastructure and applications meet cybersecurity and regulatory compliance requirements.
Optimize IT infrastructure for high performance availability and disaster recovery preparedness.
Technology & Vendor Management
Manage collaborations with external tech partners system integrators and IT vendors to design and implement efficient scalable and highperforming solutions tailored to business requirements.
Assess and select core insurance platforms middleware and emerging technologies that enhance digital capabilities.
Establish and manage servicelevel agreements with external vendors ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and performance expectations.
Digital Transformation & Automation
Drive the adoption of microservices APIdriven architecture and cloudnative applications to enhance business agility.
Leverage AI machine learning and automation technologies to streamline underwriting claims processing and policy management.
Ensure the IT architecture supports a seamless omnichannel experience for both customers and distribution partners.
Governance Compliance & IT Security
Align IT architecture with industry regulations including data protection laws and cybersecurity standards.
Establish IT governance frameworks and best practices to enhance system reliability and compliance.
Work with cybersecurity teams to implement data encryption identity access management and secure integration protocols.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Develop KPIs to monitor system performance integration efficiency and security measures.
Analyze IT infrastructure data to optimize system configurations and improve overall efficiency.
Continuously explore emerging technology trends to enhance and futureproof IT architecture.
Requirements
A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Information Technology Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
710 years of experience in IT architecture system integration and enterprise technology implementation within the life insurance or financial services sector.
Proven expertise in designing and deploying IT architecture frameworks for core insurance systems cloud environments and digital platforms.
Strong proficiency in API management microservices and enterprise data integration.
Experience collaborating with IT vendors system integrators and cloud service providers.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and IT governance best practices.
Experience building IT capabilities from the ground up in a startup or newly launched business.
Ability to design IT architectures that align with business priorities and operational efficiencies.
Expertise in cloudbased and hybrid IT environments.
Knowledge of AI machine learning blockchain and automation within the insurance industry.
Strong ability to engage with business teams IT vendors and financial institutions.
Familiarity with data protection laws cybersecurity regulations and financial IT standards.
Skilled in enterprise service bus microservices and system interoperability.
