Job Description:

Were looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Copywriter to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is responsible for crafting compelling audiencedriven content across multiple channels to engage prospective students and support enrollment efforts. Youll work closely with designers strategists and digital marketers to develop messaging that aligns with our institutions brand voice and goals.

The teams current Copywriter is retiring at the end of May and is at capacity with her current workload to take on new projects.  They need someone to fill the gap of marketing copywriting needs.  It would be helpful if this person understood higher education timelines and our prospective student (highschoolers specifically juniors and seniors). 

Key Responsibilities


Qualifications :

  • 3 years of copywriting experience in marketing advertising or content strategy (higher education experience is a plus).

  • Proven ability to write for multiple mediums including web social media digital ads video and print.

  • Strong understanding of UX writing principles with the ability to craft clear engaging and actiondriven content.

  • Experience developing copy for social media platforms with an understanding of engagement strategies.

  • Excellent editing proofreading and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to balance creativity with strategic marketing goals.

  • Highly collaborative detailoriented and adaptable.

  • Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the team.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.

  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools to assess content performance.
