Job Description
Job Specifications:
- Bachelors/College Degree in Business/Management/Administration Accountancy Math Engineering (Industrial) Logistics/Transportation or equivalent
- With Experience in Warehouse Operations and Transportation (Managerial Level)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to analyze problems and come up with solutions using statistical methods
- With Indepth knowledge about vehicles parts and maintenance
- With High Integrity
- Expert user in MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills
Job Duties:
Warehouse
- Oversees overall operational requirements for Warehouse and Transport
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Schedule cycle counts and inventory.
- Schedule shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage receipt.
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports.
- Obtain and process product orders including receiving deliveries registering them and stocking them within the Warehouse bin locations.
- Maintain safety procedures within the warehouse
- Implementation of operational standards
- Ensuring the KPIs are met
Transportation
- Lead transport organization including supervisors drivers customer service.
- Oversee Route & Dispatch Planning in efficient/proper ways
- Oversee Booking coordination and confirmation in efficient/proper ways
- Report Weekly/Monthly basis transport operations
- Develop new reliable truckers/partners from the market to the company
- Ensure trucks are fully utilized and inhouse trucks are prioritized for use over 3PL trucks
- Review/Validate gas expenses and other internal costs related to Transport
- Keep trucks in good condition (both aesthetically and functionally)
- Ensure KPIs/SLAs of all clients are secured
- Comply with transportationrelated policies as well as safety rules union contracts and government regulations
- Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints
- Plan Organize and manage subordinate staff members to ensure work is completed and consistent with the companys standards
