Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Robbinsdale MN
Shift Type: Varied
Shift Schedule: 8hour shifts
Salary Range: $37.94 $53.99 per hour (unionized; dependent on experience)
Role Overview:
The MRI Technologist performs highquality imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and confidentiality. This role requires critical thinking skills efficient workflow management and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate MRI imaging exams for neonates infants children adolescents adults and geriatric patients.
- Apply critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and adjust imaging techniques as necessary.
- Identify and respond to emergent situations appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Utilize imaging and hospital computer systems efficiently.
- Maintain professional interactions with physicians patients families and healthcare teams.
- Follow safety and compliance protocols related to imaging procedures and medication handling.
- Demonstrate continuous skill proficiency and improvement through training and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of MRI imaging techniques and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and imaging software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety comfort and highquality diagnostic imaging.
