Join Axpo Solutions AGs Risk Management Department as a Trading Regulation Manager and step into a dynamic role at the crossroads of energy markets technology and regulatory. Youll shape governance frameworks for algorithmic trading monitor market activities and ensure compliance with evolving regulations like Swiss BATE REMIT II and MiFID II in a fastpaced trading environment.
What you will do:
- Develop and refine governance frameworks for algorithmic trading.
- Execute and document validations of trading algorithms.
- Monitor and analyze trading activities using advanced surveillance tools to detect unusual patterns.
- Support regulatory reporting processes and coordinate responses to authorities.
- Collaborate with Trading Risk and Legal teams to address risk issues and regulatory challenges.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate compliance risks.
What you bring & who you are:
- Degree in financial IT finance economics or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in banking commodity trading risk management or regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Python R SQL and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a solutiondriven proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to master regulatory and technical topics effectively.
- Fluent in English; German is highly desirable additional European languages are a plus.
