The Expanded Learning Campus Supervisor under the supervision of the Expanded Learning Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of all students during program hours. This individual will actively monitor the campus ensuring students are where they need to be at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the student signout process ensuring proper parent/guardian verification and providing excellent communication and customer service.
- Supervise students returning from the bus ensuring they transition smoothly into the program.
- Actively monitor students during snack time transitions and throughout program activities.
- Check and refill water jugs and ensure other essential supplies are stocked and available for students.
- Maintain a clean and organized campus environment.
- Collaborate with staff to support program operations and enforce safety procedures.
- Establish rapport with faculty and students to maintain and enhance a positive school environment
- Support a positive school culture and schools positive behavior expectations across the campus
- Monitor the general campus parking lots and adjacent areas to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
- Provide direction to unauthorized persons on the campus.
- Report unauthorized or suspicious persons vehicles and activities to administrative staff
- Notify the administrative staff police fire department and other appropriate authorities of security or emergency situations.
- Assists with fire drills and other emergency building evacuations.
- Assist in deescalation with students as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One to two years experience providing supervision to elementary or middle school students preferred
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students families and staff of diverse ethnic racial cultural educational and economic backgrounds
- Ability to successfully pass a background check (including fingerprints) upon official offer and acceptance of a position with WCPA
Pay Range: $16.50 $18.00/Hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
