- Shape campus strategy by leading space policy and planning to support teaching research and campus life.
- Drive impact through expert analysis and collaboration across the University to optimize space use.
- Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
- Base salary range: $116262 $127078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
Campus Management is responsible for planning designing developing and managing the Universitys campus and property portfolio to support teaching research and campus life. Campus Management delivers a range of University-wide services including strategic planning property management facilities operations major projects and developments sustainability landscape security and transport. Within the Central SDC the role shares accountability for the operational delivery of Campus Management services and its primary customers are the Central Units and the whole of the University.
About the opportunity
- Spearhead the creation of a comprehensive space policy and implement a methodology to ensure optimal space utilization across the university estate.
- Provide high-level strategic advice to the Executive Estate Committee and deliver detailed tactical planning to enhance space efficiency and usage across campus.
- Manage space databases respond to enquiries with expert analysis and deliver insights and recommendations to support campus portfolio management.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Substantial experience in space planning along with the management of specialist consultants including the capacity to monitor progress against performance expectations.
- Substantial skill and experience in managing assets consistent with organisation plans customer needs and quality expectations.
- High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple tasks meet planned outcomes and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
