Summary:
As an Inventory Control Specialist youll be responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse ensuring 100 inventory accuracy and maintaining compliance with the companys processes and ISO 9000 standards. Youll play a critical role in managing inventory conducting cycle counts and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain 100 inventory accuracy by tracking all inventory received issued transferred and shipped
Perform all data entry using the online inventory management system and document center
Process all inventory transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
Conduct cycle counts of all inventory items
Ensure warehouse and inventory control areas are clean organized and all items are properly labeled
Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders
Resolve discrepancies regarding inventoried items materials parts components and tools
Share responsibility for sevenday/week warehouse coverage with fellow Inventory Control Specialists and the Lead
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations set by OSHA our client and Amtrak
Enforce applicable FRA OSHA FDA and other agency rules regulations laws and standards
Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of SAP experience (preferred)
Minimum of 6 months of experience in Material/Inventory Control Warehouse Forklift Shipping/Receiving or other Supply Chain duties
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication and problemsolving skills
Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
