Job Description

MLSE is currently looking to fill our Sales Associate International Events position with an ambitious hardworking dynamic and coachable individual who has a passion to grow the sports industry in Canada. This 9month contract role focuses on driving ticket sales for our highprofile international soccer friendly matches coming to BMO Field in 2025. This role focuses on developing and driving targeted sales strategies building strong relationships with the international fan communities and ensuring that our events reach their global revenue engagement targets. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in sporting events international events or hospitality; a passion for international soccer and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

In this role you will be required to work Tuesday Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and must be available to work evenings & weekends as required.

Your focus will be primarily selling game packs group tickets suites and single tickets to support both our June & November FIFA International Match windows at BMO Field. To be successful in this role you must be a proactive goaloriented individual who thrives in a highpaced business environment and share our common purpose to unite and empower employees to create extraordinary moments for our fans and each other.

  • Sell a full menu of ticket products including but not limited to March packs group hospitality & premium ticket packages.
  • Prospect new business through cold calling social selling & live hosting opportunities with a focus on B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer) sales.
  • Identify prospects for new sales opportunities through centers of influence referrals and appointments.
  • Identify and target international fan clubs cultural organizations and corporate partners to boost attendance and revenue.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international inquiries and ticketing requests.
  • Provide extraordinary customer service by ensuring timely and detailed responses for all inbound and outbound communication.
  • Work closely with the marketing hospitality and operations teams to design and launch targeted promotional campaigns.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track sales performance manage sales pipeline and generate reports.
  • Provide extraordinary customer service by ensuring timely and detailed responses for all inbound and outbound communication.
  • Prepare and execute presentations to prospective clients.
  • Meet or exceed designated ticket sales revenue objectives.
  • Represent the organization at both internal and external events and meetings as needed.

  • Must be enthusiastic and energetic; able to convey this through conversation over the phone virtually and in person with clients and prospects.

  • Diligent with daily/weekly planning and organization. 
  • Adaptive and flexible to changes in focus and shifting demands of the business within a fastpaced environment.

  • Great verbal and written communication skills. 
  • A positive teamfirst approach incorporating integrity confidentiality and discretion. 
  • Proven ability to build and develop professional relationships. 
  • Skilled at listening understanding and presenting effectively. 
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to continue to build a career in the sports business. 
  • Multilingual abilities are highly desirable but not necessary
  • Knowledge of the international soccer landscape is preferred
